Which training is best for you?

Setting a clear distinction in the bodyguard and close protection training arena, we offer qualifications to best meet the career objectives of our students.

The Highfield Level 3 Close Protection Operative course is for those with a right to work in the UK and who wish to obtain the CPO class on their SIA licence. This is not valid nor required for any work performed outside of the United Kingdom.

The Highfield Level 4 International Bodyguard Accreditation is a comprehensive introduction training covering all aspects of bodyguarding in various settings. This is for those new to the industry or those wanting to refresh their skills.

The Highfield Level 4 International Bodyguard Private Security Detail (PSD) Accreditation is a 5 day close protection training for those wanting to up skill and work in volatile environments, and to maintain skills currency.

The Highfield Level 5 International Close Protection Operative is globally recognised as the GOLD STANDARD in close protection training and carries reputable status for those who complete their training with Elite. This is the minimum qualification required by many international recruiters and provides extensive ‘in-the-field’ training for maximum experience and best learning outcomes.

These programs prepare participants in the finer techniques, drills and skills required to effectively provide personal protection to a VIP/Principal, either as a lone operative or within a team. This is delivered in an executive protection setting or can be delivered for hostile environments with additional training (HECPO).

Highfield Level 3 Certificate for Working as a Close Protection Operative within the Private Security Industry

~ this is the UK’s highest standard of training available in Close Protection and combined with a ‘right to work and appropriate criminal history checks, can result in the issuing of the SIA Security Licence as a Close Protection Operative.

Live Operational Assessments

You will create a portfolio of evidence of the work undertaken and complete an assessment workbook throughout the course. You will undertake several live exercises and scenario-based situations in various roles within the team to gain experience in all aspects of close protection.

Stretching beyond standard requirements, you will show case your skills learned and apply them to a final live operation with one of our VIP clients.
